Cowie is built for people making high-stakes decisions. That means you might share sensitive personal, financial, or professional information. Here is exactly how we handle it.
What we collect
The question you submit and any optional context (financial stakes, affected people, timeline) are sent to our AI for analysis. Stored to enable follow-up and to measure whether the tool is genuinely helpful.
When you select proceed, modify, delay, or kill after reading your analysis, we record that choice so we can understand whether the tool is genuinely useful.
If you choose to enter your email for a 30-day follow-up, it is stored securely and used exclusively for that single follow-up. No newsletter. No marketing. No spam. Ever.
What we don’t do

Third-party services
Cowie uses Anthropic’s Claude API to generate analyses. Your question and context are sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic’s data retention and privacy policies apply to that processing. We encourage you to review their policy at anthropic.com for details.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, access times) may be collected by the hosting infrastructure.
