The question you submit and any optional context (financial stakes, affected people, timeline) are sent to our AI for analysis. Stored to enable follow-up and to measure whether the tool is genuinely helpful.

When you select proceed, modify, delay, or kill after reading your analysis, we record that choice so we can understand whether the tool is genuinely useful.

If you choose to enter your email for a 30-day follow-up, it is stored securely and used exclusively for that single follow-up. No newsletter. No marketing. No spam. Ever.

Running a pre-mortem does not publish it. If you press Share, your report gets an address of its own and anyone holding that link can read it — no account, no password. Treat the link as the key. Reports that triggered a crisis banner cannot be shared at all. If you have shared one and want it taken down, contact us and we will unshare or delete it.

“Copy report” is assembled in your browser from the report already on screen and goes to your clipboard. “Download image” renders the report you are looking at and hands you the file. Neither creates a link, and neither requires the report to have been shared.

Your decision, context and analysis are deleted twelve months after you run them. That covers the 30-day follow-up and lets us check whether the warnings proved accurate. After that they are of no further use, so they go. Deleting an analysis also removes any shared link to it.

If your input indicated abuse, danger to a child, or thoughts of self-harm, the analysis is deleted after thirty days rather than twelve months. Keeping that for a year to improve a product is not a trade we are willing to make.
